Northeast Entrance to Yellowstone National Park | May 1981 & September 2015
Excerpt
from my grandmother’s travel journal on May 29th, 1981: “Sun shining
warm on our chests through the windshield. Booth is closed, but map
shows all camps closed but three. Shortest distance is Mammoth Springs –
fifty miles and we head there at 45mph, driving along a rushing creek
and between the slender log-pole pines.”
