from my grandmother’s travel journal on May 28th & 29th, 1981:
“Decided to push on to Hardin, twelve miles further although very tired.
Arrived at KOA, took a tent site and put up the tent. Warm sun was
shining into the tent and the world looked good & fresh. Made
breakfast and cooked up tea, washed dishes, and packed tent down.”
