Excerpt from my grandmother’s travel journal on April 21st, 1979: “Yosemite Falls again, but from the south side drive, it shows the Upper Fall foaming into a big bowl of snow! Walked onto the brown wooden bridge over the crystal-clear shallow river with pussy willow bushes, mirrored in the water.”
