Excerpt from my grandmother’s travel journal on June 6th, 1997: “Went to town and had burgers and coffee at McDonald’s, then to the green square with the elk antler arches and quaint stores. Found a great paintings gallery where Herb took some shots of especially beautiful pictures. One picture (golden aspens) was $18 only (thousands!) – $18,600!”
