from my grandmother’s travel journal on April 23rd, 1979: “Old
Hangtown! And an unbelievable entrance – without warning and a 90°
curve! The steepest descent with wild curves into a very busy little
town with a Main Street T – ended smack from that entrance road. It
took all the brakes to accomplish that!”
