Rock Creek Road in El Dorado County, California | April 1979 & May 2015
Excerpt
from my grandmother’s travel journal on April 24th, 1979: “We crossed
the Rock Creek Road Bridge, the CCC had built in 1936 and Herb
recognized. Beautiful slit of a valley, big rocks in the white &
swirling water, yellow scotch broom in big blotches hanging over the
sides. Down on the other side of Rock Creek Road to Placerville and
across the American River again."
